ABOUT US

The new Görvälns Slott opened it´s doors for conferences, weekends and dinner guests in September 2008, and the first 24 hotel rooms were completed in January 2009. In the spring of 2010 we completed 14 more rooms, to bring the total number of rooms to 38.

How it all began...
During the summer of 2007, we began negotiations with Järfälla Kommun concerning taking over the management at Görvälns Slott. It was our dream! We had been operating Hufvudsta Gård Konferens in Solna since 1999, and had been looking for a new project. Görvälns Slott was perfect! It is beautifully positioned, and close to both Stockholm and the airport, Arlanda. The old wings were to transform into beautiful hotel rooms. 

The contract was signed in May of 2008, and the renovations were begun directly thereafter. The entire main building was to have a surface restoration, and five buildings were to be completely re-built and turned into hotel rooms in a very short time. It´s been a lot of hard work, but it has also been incredibly exciting to see our dream come to life.

We use great precision in caring for our establishment as well as our guests to make them feel well cared for. All of our employees share the same interest for people, design, furnishings, food and beverages, as well as offering a professional conference accommodation and assurance of a warm and creative environment as well as being able to offer the ultimate in dining, with the best produce and preparation possible.

We love to mediate new thoughts, ideas and trends to our guests. Görvälns Slott and our sister establishment Hufvudsta Gård steadily update our accommodations with new trends, such as colors, wall furnishings and other details.  That is why we started www.inspirationsbanken.se -  to inspire whether it be wallpaper or dinner recipes, as well as tips about wine and other beverages.
