If you enjoy being in the surrounding of palaces and country estates, then you really have something to look forward to by spending a night or two at Görvälns. Here you can find one of Sweden´s most innovative environments for fairy tale, weekend adventures.

Today, Görvälns Slott offers 38 hotel rooms, suites and mini suites, each with individual character and charm. The rooms are situated in the 2 wings of the palace from the 1750´s as well as in Solbacka Krog, Villa Solbacka and Villa Bleckhornet. Each and every room is of the highest class, and no one is quite like another. From the colorations, the flooring, the furnishings and the bathroom tiles- every detail is hand chosen especially for each room. For example, most of the wardrobes at Görvälns Slott are antiques, which have been refurbished by our upholsterer Andreas to suit each hotel room. The rugs are genuine alpaca, and are guaranteed to keep your feet warm on cold, winter days.

The fabulous beds are in a class of their own, in luxurious rococo with box springs from Mille Notti and the mattresses, comforters and pillows are down filled. The quilts are all sewn of exclusive fabrics or woven in the finast wool or beautiful hand sewn goat skin. You will simply sleep majestically. Gold is one of the standard features in our furnishings, with one exception. One of our suites is furnished completely in Silver. The head board in room #5 is beautifully handcrafted and carved in silver. There are only a few of these in the world, among them you will find one at the luxury hotel/membership club Soho House in New York.

Each of the rooms at Görvälns Slott are furnished with an LCD Tv, floor heating in the bathrooms, shower or bath tub, mini bar, safe, blow drier, as well as bath robes and slippers. Some of the rooms offer lake views and others have fireplaces. You will also find magazines and a small collection of board/card games. 

All of the meals are served in the beautiful main building of the palace. Our head chef, Joakim Larsson will make sure that your meals will be a pleasurable memory of your stay, while our sommelier Lisen Gustavsson will guide you amongst the finest of drinks. Coffee and cognac can be had in one of the salons on the second floor.
